Scalp Vein Set
A scalp vein set, also called a butterfly needle, is used for venipuncture in children, infants, or patients with difficult veins. It has plastic “wings” on each side of the needle for better control and comfort. The flexible tubing connects to a syringe or IV line. It provides reliable short-term access for blood draws or IV fluids and is sterile and single-use.
